The Team You’ll Work With

Carta is looking for an Account Executive to join our Investor Services team, based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai as our country sales lead and first local hire.

Carta expanded to the Asia Pacific & MENA region in 2021 and we are building a world-class team to support the venture capital and private equity ecosystems. Most of our regional team is based in Singapore. Last year we announced our intention to open an office in the Middle East and become a locally licensed fund administrator to better support our growing list of customers in the region.

The Problems You’ll Solve

In just 5 years, Carta has become the largest Fund Administrator to VCs in the world, driven by our game changing approach to combining technology and services and our compelling network effects. We are expanding quickly in adjacent sectors including Private Equity. Our vision is to build the OS (operating system) for venture capital and private equity fund managers and CFOs.

  • Evangelize Carta’s unique value proposition to the VC and PE ecosystem, specifically in the markets of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Riyadh.
  • Map and communicate the business impact of our product offerings to key decision makers
  • Identify and communicate effectively with Go-to-Market Leads new areas for business growth
  • Understand customer needs and requirements and act as a trusted business advisor
  • Drive revenue through strategic networking, in-person business development and outbound prospecting
  • Own the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to close
  • Develop a comprehensive go to market plan to prioritize and execute against the opportunity in the Middle East, in partnership with your cross functional leads.

About You

  • 5+ years in a sales, business development or Go-To-Market strategy role
  • Ability to solve problems and achieve results autonomously (as you will be the first hire for our Middle East office)
  • Strong understanding of venture capital and private equity including the local ecosystem
  • Experience outbound prospecting, networking and building relationships
  • Managing a pipeline, and closing sizable deals
  • Flexible, adaptable, and resilient - Comfortable working in a high velocity startup environment

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of SaaS businesses, or experience in a SaaS sales role
  • Fund Administration experience
  • Accounting background
