The Graduate Site Reliability Engineer (or Technical Support Engineer) is a technical support role within the Cohesity Support organization. The position is based in our local support center, where you will have the opportunity to work with other talented engineers in a highly collaborative team environment, learning from a top performing group of talented support engineers. We are looking for passionate people who possess a willingness to learn as well as excellent communication and customer service skills to join our team!

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Support Cohesity customers with case opening processes, initial problem assessment and documentation, and routing to appropriate technical resource
  • Record customer interactions, including investigation, troubleshooting, and the resolution of issues
  • Work closely with the global Cohesity Support Team, Cohesity Engineering, and Account Management Teams
  • Provide the best experience possible for Cohesity Support customers, both internal and external
  • Use available tools to investigate and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Demonstrate considerable judgment in selecting methods and techniques for acquiring solutions
  • Manage workload to ensure that all customer issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Propose process improvements with solutions

Required Skills

  • You are passionate about customers; their success is your success. Phenomenal communication skills and full command of the English language.
  • You have hands-on knowledge and understanding of Linux Command Line utilities.
  • You have basic knowledge of networking, or database administration, or cloud environments (from classroom/education, or self-taught course work)
  • You have phenomenal verbal and written communication skills; you are clear in your delivery and thorough with your details
  • Your teamwork and interpersonal skills make it easy for you to prioritize and multitask without missing deadlines
  • You have a natural curiosity for technology; you seek to understand how things work or why they don’t
  • You have strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

The role would be best suited for students in their final year of any Computer Science or Business Information Systems courses and graduating in 2025 and preferably start with us on Jun/July 2025 in our Cork office.
