We seek a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our team and lead the product development process for EverHealth’s mobile applications. As product Owner, you will be the customer representative within the product development process, gathering data on customer needs and translating them into product requirements and user stories for developers to work on.

As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare by overseeing the development and enhancements of our mobile products. The Product Owner is responsible for prioritizing the backlog against which the development team will work.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather customer needs data such as feature requests, create detailed requirements and schedule release timelines, and manage sprints and development lifecycle appropriately
  • Use a deep understanding of the customer’s needs to identify and define personas and user journeys
  • Break down complex requirements into actionable user stories and work closely with the development team to prioritize and deliver them in iterative development cycles
  • Manage and prioritize the right backlogs while monitoring and improving the team velocity
  • Collaborate with development, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure that the correct customer problems are being solved
  • Ensure requirements are available and understood by the Scrum team
  • Test and validate new features as they are being built by the development team
  • Attend scrum meetings, including stand-ups, planning, and backlog grooming
  • Work closely with product management to create products that address customer needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, engineers, QA, and project managers, to facilitate seamless product development and successful product launches in partnership with Product Management
  • Coordinate and support product releases, ensuring smooth deployment and adoption of new features
  • Monitor post-release performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement
  • Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for improvement

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • 2+ years of experience as a product owner or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • iOS proficiency desired
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies
  • Strong healthcare industry knowledge and understanding of new mobile technology and industry trends
  • Tech savvy with prior work experience with Jira (or other agile project management tools), user-facing products, and API interactions in an iterative-based development environment
  • Strong understanding of electronic medical records, electronic health records, and other solutions that enable healthcare professionals
  • User-centric mindset
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically

Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office, or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $110,000 to USD 120,000 annually in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the abovementioned amounts.
