About the role

Timely and SalonBiz serve over 24,000 customers in 100 countries and are on a mission to build the leading platform for beauty professionals. Together we make up EverWell, an EverCommerce vertical. Between us, we offer SaaS solutions to customers of varying sizes and stages, serving different customer profiles within the beauty industry. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our marketing efforts as the Head of Marketing. In this role, you will oversee marketing strategy and operations for two prominent brands, Timely and SalonBiz, on a global scale.

Reporting directly to the SVP Revenue, you will manage multiple teams responsible for product & customer marketing, growth and digital marketing (in collaboration with a digital agency), PR Brand, and Communications. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with our core regions (ANZ, UK, US) and contribute to the development and execution of Go-To-Market strategies.

Area of focus

Marketing Strategy & Development

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing
  • strategies aligned with business objectives for both
  • Timely and SalonBiz brands.
  • Ensuring the implementation of effective marketing
  • strategies.
  • Reviewing and reporting on all areas of the marketing
  • strategies and its implementation.
  • Conducting strategic marketing analysis that will help
  • guide marketing messages.
  • Stay abreast of changes in the market and industry
  • trends to inform marketing strategies and initiatives, and
  • conduct market research and competitor analysis to
  • identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of all
  • marketing activities, both internally and externally, to
  • inform strategic decision-making.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse marketing team, including product & customer marketing, growth and digital marketing, PR Brand, and Communications, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Collaborating with senior team members across all departments to uncover insights and create innovative marketing and branding strategies.
  • Ensure your teams effectively manage relationships and outcomes across our creative agencies and retainer partners.
  • Sourcing talent to ensure the curation and retention of specialist skill sets across your teams.
  • Routinely sharing strategies, progress, results, learnings, and relevant industry trends with the broader team.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts across regions and departments.
  • Collaborate with our regional teams to ensure we are driving value within our core markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, regional leaders, partners, and external agencies, consultants, and service providers.

Budgeting & Planning

  • Leading the development of all marketing plans.
  • Efficiently managing annual marketing budgets.
  • Liaise with departments across the business to gain and allocate marketing budgets effectively, ensuring maximum effectiveness and return on investment of all marketing activities.

Revenue Growth & Opportunity Identification

  • Focusing on growing audiences and the uptake for products and services.
  • Consistently identifying new or expanded revenue opportunities and strategizing the implementation of plans.
  • Work with our regional MDs & Global customer leads with unlock revenue opportunities

Skills and experience needed to be successful:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven company.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Superior communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and techniques.
