DrChrono is searching for a Manager of RCM. This position will report directly to the Head of RCM. This person will be responsible for managing RCM staff to ensure that billing and collection activities are timely, accurate and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all Revenue Cycle Management staff and include day to day supervision as well as development opportunities, training, and mentorship.
  • Ensure work is being accomplished in a timely manner with emphasis on productivity, and accuracy to ensure quality of service.
  • Research technical advances in revenue cycle management, presents new opportunities to stakeholders, and creates execution plans for approved recommendations.
  • Be responsible for client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.
  • Assist with RCM Account Manager issues.
  • Troubleshoot and solve billing software issues.
  • Evaluate current skill sets and develop team members to achieve overall organizational goals through training and mentoring.
  • Build external relationships among vendors and industry leaders to enhance the company performance and reputation among the provider community.
  • Assist in setting strategic key performance indicator metrics around performance, goals, improvement, and existing processes.
  • Stay apprised of coding and revenue trends; and is responsible for coding education to clinical and coding/billing staff.
  • Occasional travel as required.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • 5+ years of progressive revenue cycle knowledge and experience.
  • 4+ years in a supervisory/management role required.
  • Experience supervising staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience with process development and execution
  • Experience communicating with 3rd party vendors.
  • Excellent time management, project management and organizational skills.
  • Proven experience in healthcare billing including medical terminology, CPT codes, and ICD-10 codes.
  • Knowledge of basic insurance policies, procedures, and reimbursement practices with Medicare coding
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with building training modules
  • Patience, empathy and a unique ability to manage change.
  • A passion for healthcare.

Where: Remote, US
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 Per Year with an annual company defined bonus structure in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
