We are looking for an Enterprise SEO Manager to focus on our Socius Marketing & EverConnect Products.
Socius Marketing is a full-service digital marketing agency offering services to businesses in the Home Improvement / Home Remodeling and Healthcare space. As a division of Evercommerce, our mission is to provide high-quality digital marketing services to help SMBs and Enterprise organizations grow and scale their business. Socius offers website design and management services, SEO strategy, content production, paid media management, creative, social media management, account management, and more.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SEO Manager to join our team at Socius Marketing. In this role, you will be at the intersection of AI and SEO, harnessing the power of cutting-edge tools like GPT-4 to drive our enterprise tech SEO and content strategies. Your expertise in technical SEO, local SEO, and digital PR will be pivotal as you navigate website migrations, conduct competitive audits, scope new work, and lead global SEO initiatives. As a seasoned professional, you will play a key role in consulting and scoping for both enterprise and local clients, demonstrating exceptional leadership, coaching and consulting. Your responsibilities will extend to managing a small team of Senior SEOs, conducting quality assurance of SEO work, and identifying skill gaps to enhance the expertise of your team. Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical SEO audits, help oversee site architecture and website migrations
- Drive enterprise content strategy and perform competitive analysis
- Consult with clients, both new and existing, on SEO implementation, opportunities and scoping of work
- Confidently lead strategic initiatives for clients ranging from small to medium-sized local/regional businesses to enterprise-level companies, while mentoring other SEO team members
- Lead the integration of AI, specifically GPT-4, into SEO strategies
- Manage and mentor a team of SEO professionals, identifying and addressing skill gaps
- Provide expertise in local SEO strategies and opportunities
- Experience using link-building tools or services / digital PR
- Utilize analytics and data to create comprehensive SEO reports and scorecards
- Oversee CRO testing, UX design implementation, and website launches, ensuring optimal SEO performance (Plus)
Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:
- Proven experience in technical SEO, enterprise content strategy, and competitive analysis
- In-depth knowledge of AI applications in SEO, with specific experience using GPT-4
- Strong leadership skills and at least 2 years of experience managing 3+ direct reports
- Experience and interest in training team members, penning thought-leadership pieces, and consulting with clients
- Expertise in local SEO content planning, optimization tactics and reporting
- Background in digital PR and link building strategies
- Experience conducting deep content audits with action plans for improving visibility and traffic
- Proficient in analytics and data interpretation for SEO reporting and performance tracking, bonus points for multi-channel reporting
- Some familiarity with CRO testing systems, UX design, and scoping CRO improvement projects
- Expert-level presentation skills and deck building to present opportunities for improvement, performance metrics and strategic planning
- Experience leading enterprise-level businesses’ SEO strategies and reporting to C-Level individuals
- Experience managing franchise-level SEO strategies (national brand and local, franchisee level) is a plus, but not required
- Proven experience growing and scaling organic traffic, impressions, leads, revenue etc., for SMBs and Enterprise websites
- Ability to navigate website migrations, provide direction and identify migration issues / fixes
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and departments as well as with clients
- E-commerce / Shopify experience is a plus, but not required
Where: Remote, US
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
