Rippling is the first way for businesses to manage all of their HR & IT—payroll, benefits, computers, apps, and more—in one unified workforce platform.
By connecting every business system to one source of truth for employee data, businesses can automate all of the manual work they normally need to do to make employee changes. Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can just click a button and set up a new employees’ payroll, health insurance, work computer, and third-party apps—like Slack, Zoom, and Office 365—all within 90 seconds.
Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.2B from the world's top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Bedrock, and Greenoaks—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes (#12 out of 500).
The HRIS team is responsible for enabling core employees and other data models to be able to build their products more effectively. Each product as a stand-alone is part of a multi-billion dollar market and as a senior member of the team, you will get to take ownership of building them. The two core concerns around the core data service is the interface and the integrity of the data. The team is also responsible for building user-facing flows and components that help users and company admins manage their employees including onboarding, off-boarding, hiring, termination and transitions.
Your day-to-day work will require you to work with product managers, product designers, UX researchers, and engineers from multiple teams. You will get to solve the hard engineering problems of scaling our product, reducing latency, ensuring security, and also play the critical role of mentoring developers, shaping up the team culture, influencing engineering processes, and the direction of the products.
What You'll Do:
- Develop high quality software with attention to detail
- Work on complex engineering problems.
- Have clear ownership over your projects.
- Work directly with partner teams and end-users to help Rippling continually differentiate itself via better products and technology
- Strong CS fundamentals
- 7+ years of professional work experience
- Experience building a large-scale cloud-based application
- You care about product ownership and solving problems for our customers
- You’re passionate about being in a product-focused environment where everyone cares deeply about customer impact
