About Rippling

Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.2B from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from @Rippling.com addresses.

About the Role

Rippling’s Spend suite of products helps companies manage and control their spending efficiently, covering expenses, corporate cards, travel, bill payments, and more. This suite is essential for meeting the needs of a wide range of customers looking for an integrated spend management solution. Success in this role is key to achieving our growth goals and becoming a leader in the financial services market.

As the Product Lead for Rippling Expense Management and Corporate Cards, you will set the vision and guide the execution of our core product roadmap as it continues to grow 10X in ARR, to the tune of $XXX,XXX,XXX by 2027. You’ll oversee a dedicated team of 1 PM, 17 engineers, and 2 designers to help your vision come to life across the United States, Canada, and Europe.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee every aspect of Rippling Expense Management and Rippling Corporate Cards — you’ll work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, support, risk, underwriting, and compliance to execute your vision.
  • Ideate and launch new, innovative features that will enable over 20,000 businesses and 1,000,000 employees to save a transformative amount of time (and money).
  • Scale globally — we want to transform the way Finance teams manage their spend across the world. In order to do that, we need to build native versions of these products in every country, from Canada to the UK.
  • Use machine learning and AI to build never-before-seen analytics and automation into our spend management products.
  • Stop fraud and defaults before they happen — with great credit comes great responsibility. That means constantly coming up with new and impactful ways to programmatically identify and stop fraud and customer defaults before it happens.
  • Create an intuitive, easy-to-use product experience that delights administrators and employees.
  • Become the one SME to rule them all — as a true business owner, it’s your responsibility to stay on top of everything, from customer feedback to what all our competitors are doing, in order to inform your (and everyone else's) strategic decisions.

What You Will Need

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience
  • Self-starter with a bias towards action
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Have owned both 0-to-1 product launches and products at scale
  • Helicopter pilot mentality - you can easily switch from high level strategy and planning to UI polish and data model details
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and comfortable working in a highly cross-functional role
  • Fintech and/or previous founder experience a plus
  • Strong alignment with our leadership principles: in particular Go and See, and Are Right, a Lot

Even if you don’t meet all of the requirements listed here, we still encourage you to apply. Skills can be used in lots of different ways and your life and professional experience may be relevant beyond what a list of requirements will capture.
