Tatari is looking for a scrappy and dedicated Office Manager to join the team in Los Angeles. In this position, you will report directly to SVP, Operations, and you will be responsible for all of LA office management, as well as culture and engagement initiatives. You are a natural people-person, and you care deeply about employee experience and want to help build the best culture! Everyday is not the same and you thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all-thing LA office management (including minor oversight of the OC satellite co-working space), including but not limited to, facility organization, ordering snacks or lunches, office moves, planning and executing team building events—no task is too big or small. You are the first point of contact in LA for Tatari employees, candidates, any stakeholders, and office related vendors.
  • Work closely with SVP Operations on all culture and engagement initiatives, including active participation with the Company’s DEI and Culture committees, perfecting the onboarding processes, internal comms for the Company’s intranet, and employee engagement surveys, etc.
  • Work closely with the PeopleOps team on various adhoc and rotational tasks, including minor event planning and execution, hosting all-hands calls, fulfilling one-off requests, play back-up for each other when needed, etc.
  • Be proactive in anticipating, identifying, and executing improvements in our day-to-day workflow, including understanding the technology and workarounds in our office ecosystem (i.e. troubleshoot office gear, work with internal departments (e.g. IT) to ensure that the office is running smoothly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree from a 4-year college/university.
  • 3+ years of office management experience for a startup, including 2+ years of planning and/or executing employee engagement initiatives. Bonus for DEI and Culture-related committees.
  • Strong multitasker; able to juggle competing priorities with a strong sense of urgency (aka a swiss army knife) and “GSD” attitude!
  • Attention to detail with a strong sense of awareness and anticipation.
  • Strong analytical, technical and troubleshooting skills, including prior experience utilizing GSuite, Slack and Office 365; bonus for intranet experience.
  • Flawless writing abilities–drafting, writing, proofreading, and editing. You enjoy being the grammar police!
  • Ability to be in the office daily; this is not a remote position–it is office management after all.
